HEALTHY MINDS, HEARTS & BODIES
Participants will learn about self-care practices to support healthy minds, hearts and bodies. Through a combination of theory and practical activities, we explore the benefits of mindfulness, emotional awareness, exercise, sleep and nutrition.
Through learning how to understand and care for our minds, hearts (emotions) and bodies, girls can experience improved focus, resilience, self-esteem and general feelings of wellbeing.
When coming from a place of wellness, we are more likely to thrive, experience success and feel more joy in our day-to-day lives.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Health & wellbeing
Our workshop facilitators create a nurturing, inclusive environment that supports girls to feel comfortable to open up, be who they are, ask questions and connect with themselves and each other. We incorporate a range of modalities to support engagement and connection, including; teaching, collaboration, discussion, reflection and practical activities such as meditation, yoga and art.
Girls are provided with learning materials and a take-home kit to inspire ongoing commitment to self-love practice.
An information sheet for parents is also provided so further support can be offered at home.
